Road safety is a core pillar of TotalEnergies Marketing Lebanon's societal commitment. Through awareness programmes, education initiatives, and concrete infrastructure improvements, the affiliate works to promote safer mobility and foster a culture of road safety across Lebanon.
As part of this commitment, TotalEnergies Marketing Lebanon continued the deployment of the VIA Safe Mobility Programme, an initiative of the TotalEnergies Foundation implemented in partnership with the Lebanese International Road Safety Academy (LIRSA). In its fifth edition in Lebanon, in 2026, the programme engaged close to 16,000 students across eight schools, bringing the total number of students reached since 2022 to more than 36,200.
The programme culminated in an award ceremony held at the Sursock Museum under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, where the most impactful student projects were recognized. The 2026 winning teams were Marist Brothers College Champville (1st place), Oriental School Zahle (2nd place) and Shouf National College (3rd place).

Defensive Driving Training to 75 School Bus Drivers
Part of our commitment to road safety, and in collaboration with the Lebanese International Road Safety Academy (LIRSA), we trained, in 2024, 75 school bus drivers across three schools. The training enhanced the knowhow of the school bus drivers when it comes to defensive driving techniques, hazard identification, and road safety protocols to ensure the safety of children’s journey to and from school.
